About the Event
Curious about brain research and what its applications are in your daily life?Â
Youth Neuro Australia (YNA) is excited to present our webinar event with Dr Suraj Samtani as part of Brain Awareness Week, which aims to make brain research freely accessible to all audiences. Regardless of how much science knowledge you have, this webinar is for you!Â
Join us to hear from Dr Samtani, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA), which is a premier research institution at UNSW Sydney and strives for advances in healthier brain ageing and better clinical care of age-related brain diseases.Â
Dr Samtani will explore what brain research is and why it is important for all of us to learn more. He will also discuss the research that CHeBA undertakes and the SHARED project, which is an international collaboration investigating the potential predictors of the onset and course of dementia across the lifespan.Â
There is also time for a Q&A session at the conclusion of the webinar where you can ask any of your brain-related questions, research, dementia and more!
