Responsible for leading the brainstorming, creation, and revision of events.
Supervises and manages their team effectively through regular meetings.
Ensures events align with the vision and values of YNA, and are appealing and beneficial for our target audience.
Demonstrates effective leadership and planning skills to enable each event to run smoothly by drafting timelines, and delegating and carrying out responsibilities accordingly.
Identifies the marketing and resourcing needs of each event, and collaborates with the appropriate coordinators to address these considerations.
Works closely with the Undergraduate Director, Resources and Marketing departments through attending fortnightly undergraduate executive meetings to facilitate effective teamwork and inter-departmental communication.
Works with the Sponsorship Director to streamline communication when liaising with collaborating organisations
Average commitment of 4-7 hours per week
Strong leadership skills, including showing initiative and responsibility, and ability to effectively manage a team. Past experience in event management roles preferred.
Works well under pressure and able to comfortably meet deadlines
Great teamwork, communication, and collaborative skills
Innovative, creative, and passionate about their role
Good reply game, especially close to event dates!
